MARTIN COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – One person has been flown to a hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Martin County.

It happened Monday around 9:45 a.m. on U.S. 50 at Red School Road.

Indiana State Police say Adam Moon, of Bruceville, was driving eastbound on U.S. 50 when his vehicle went left of center and hit another vehicle driving by David Rottet, Jr., of Winslow.

Moon was seriously injured and flown to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment. Rottet was not injured.

U.S. 50 was closed for several hours to clear the scene.

It’s unclear why Moon’s vehicle went left of center.
