An Owensboro businessman facing rape and sodomy charges is pleading not guilty.
Billy Joe Miles was arraigned Monday afternoon in Owensboro.
A grand jury indicted him earlier this month for allegedly sexually abusing a woman at a home on Barclay Ave. in July.
Prosecutors filed a motion to expand a protective order preventing any contact with the victim to include any of Miles’ family or workers at his company.
Prosecutors with the Attorney General’s Office claim the victim has been subjected to threats since the indictment was announced.
