Owensboro Community & Technical College (OCTC) Counseling Center is hosting an eating disorder information session on Thursday at 11:00 a.m.

The free session welcomes both students and the public, and is entitled “Come As You Are.”

The session will feature local speakers in recovery from food addiction, and is held in conjunction with National Eating Disorder week.

“It’s important to try and reach students who may be struggling with an eating disorder, but it is also vital to bring awareness and understanding to our campuses about these issues” commented Dr. Scott Williams, OCTC President.

The session is part of a ‘Healthy You, Healthy Campus’ series, and will be held in the Chandler Conference Center (ATC 107) located in the Advanced Technology Center, on OCTC’s Main Campus at 4800 New Hartford Road.
