A man is charged with causing a deadly head-on collision in western Kentucky more than a week ago.
Taylor Simmons and Jamie Brooks of Owensboro both died on Saturday, January 24. Their car was hit head-on by another car that allegedly crossed the center.
30-year-old Joshua M. McDaniel is now charged with two counts of manslaughter, three counts of wanton endangerment, and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.
The crash happened around 8 p.m. on Highway 60 West near Stanley, Kentucky. Authorities say the car driven by McDaniel crossed the center line and hit the car carrying three men.
20-year-old Taylor Simmons and 24-year-old Jamie Brooks died. Bradley Hagan was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
McDaniel is being held in the Daviess County Detention Center on a $150,000 full cash bond.
