Owensboro man facing charges in connection to more than two dozen vandalism cases

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) – An Owensboro man has been accused of 26 cases of vandalism around the city.

The Owensboro Police Department arrested 25-year-old Jarel Thruston. He’s charged with criminal mischief.

More than two dozen cases of vandalism took place over three nights in Owensboro.

Officer Andrew Boggess says each count equals each day the vandalism happened.

Tips from residents helped lead to Thruston’s arrest.

Thruston is being held on a $7,500 bond in the Daviess County Jail.
