The man responsible for a four-hour stand-off with Owensboro Police on Wednesday is due to be arraigned Friday.
Odis Barrett, 37, faces Three Counts of Attempted Murder of a Police Officer, Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, Trafficking of a Controlled Substance and Fleeing or Evading Police.
The stand-off began around 4 that afternoon when officers attempted to serve a warrant on Barrett.
That’s when authorities say Barrett shot at the police and fled into a nearby home.
SWAT and more Police units responded, but ultimately, Barrett surrendered peaceably.
