An Evansville woman pleads guilty to charges related to the murder of a woman at her home last Summer.
30-year-old Brandi Phillips pleaded guilty to assisting a criminal, forgery and fraud. The agreement means Phillips was sentenced to a total of 12 years in prison.
Phillips was one of three people arrested following Angie Dixon’s death in June of 2013. Investigators believe she was with two men during a robbery at Dixon’s apartment on S. Lombard Ave. Dixon was killed in the attack.
The man convicted of being the shooter, Kaytun Marsh, is serving a 60 year sentence in her death.
