Pilot in Dubois Co. Crash Now ‘Stable’

The pilot whose helicopter crashed in Dubois County on Saturday is now in stable condition, according to the University of Louisville Hospital.

Keith Windsor was flying a small crop dusting helicopter over a field in Jasper when the aircraft went down Saturday.

Windsor managed to escape before the helicopter went up in flames. He was flow to St. Vincent in Evansville and then was transferred to the University of Louisville Hospital.

Initially, he had been listed in critical condition. However, he is now listed in stable condition.
