The public is invited to a ribbon cutting at noon on Thursday, at Ben Hawes Golf Course Par 3 Course.
The certified American FootGolf League (AFGL) 9-hole FootGolf Course, located alongside the Par 3 Golf Course, will be unveiled at this time.
Owensboro is bringing two FootGolf Courses to the city.
In addition to the course at Ben Hawes, a 18-hole FootGolf Course will run alongside the 9-hole golf course located at Hillcrest Golf Course.
Both new courses are certified by the AFGL, and will be open to the public following the ribbon cutting.
Free play will take place at both FootGolf courses after the ribbon cutting through close of business on Thursday.

Both courses will be open seven days a week, weather permitting.
The 9-hole course located at Ben Hawes will cost $10 per person, for all-day play.
The 18-hole course green fee is $12 per round, and $22 with cart.
Play is limited until after noon at Hillcrest, with no play restrictions at the Par 3 Course at Ben Hawes.
