BRIGHAM CITY, Utah (CNN) – An 11-year-old’s marketing scheme got the attention of his community and the police.
The Brigham City Police Department posted photos of Seth Parker’s son advertising “Ice Cold Beer.”
Police said they received three reports about the business operation and went to investigate.
That’s when they discovered the small print on the boy’s sign.
Seth was actually selling ice cold root beer.
The word ‘root’ was written on top of the word ‘beer’ in tiny green letters.
Police said the sign was ingenious.
Apparently, Seth’s mom and dad helped with the marketing campaign.
The attention from police actually has business booming and he plans to keep the stand open until school starts.
