Police investigating armed robbery in Evansville

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Evansville Police are looking for two suspects involved in an armed robbery that happened around 7:30 PM Friday on North Fourth Avenue.

According to a police report, the victim said he had just gotten back from Krispy Kreme Donuts and didn’t secure the door. The report says an unknown male entered the apartment, pointed a long gun at him, ordered him to the ground, then asked where the victim stored his money. This is when the report says a fight broke out.

A witness who works for the apartment complex observed a man running from the apartment and enter a dark blue dodge durango and says the driver appeared to be a woman.

The victim was able to take video with his cell phone of the suspect.
