Power Restored in WKY After the Storm


The storms knocked out power to thousands across western Kentucky.

OMU officials say as many as 1,600 customers lost electricity at the storm’s peak.

Some of the outages happened during the second wave of storms in the early morning hours.

Service was fully restored by noon.

Kenergy officials say more than 1,300 customers in nine counties lost electricity.
