Preliminary Findings Show Two Tornadoes Touched Down in Tri-State

The National Weather Service in Paducah says a storm survey shows preliminary findings of two tornadoes in the Tri-State.

The services says preliminary findings show an EF1 tornado in touched down in northern Vanderbugh County into western Warrick County. The NWS also says an EF1 touched down in northern Spencer County south of Gentryville.

The NWS adds the tornado that traveled from Vanderburgh to Warrick County had a peak wind of 110 miles per hour. Its path was 8.5 miles miles long. The width of the tornado averaged 325 yards while its max width was 500 yards.
