President Trump to speak at AMVETS convention in Louisville


LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WEHT) – President Donald Trump’s visit to Louisville on August 21 will include a stop at the AMVETS’ 75th Annual National Convention.

The president is scheduled to address more than 2,500 military veterans at The Galt House Hotel from noon-3 p.m. EST.

The president is also attending a fundraiser for Republican Governor Matt Bevin on August 21.

The president’s plan to attend that fundraiser was announced Monday.

Gov. Bevin is on the ballot in 2019 against Democrat Andy Beshear.
