53 jobs could be coming to Vanderburgh County with an $11 million investment.
The city council is considering a tax phase-in to allow an international company to build a plant on the north side.
The company has asked to remain anonymous until the deal is finalized.
It is simply known as “Project Parrott”.
County leaders say the company chose Vanderburgh County over Raleigh, North Carolina.
A decision on the tax phase-in should come next month.
It’s anticipated the company will open in January 2018.
