INDIANA – One Indiana college is doing a small part to make it easier for students to vote.

Purdue plans to waive its $10 fee for student ID’s.

The fees will only be waived from October 21st through October 25th.

Several faculty members and student organizations had been pressuring the school to waive the fee so students who could not afford the fee could get an ID before the November election.

State law requires voters to show a government issued ID before casting a ballot.
