Ram Malek wins ‘Best Actor’ at BAFTAs


Britain’s version of the Academy Awards took place Sunday.

Actor and University of Evansville graduate Rami Malek was one of the BAFTA winners.

He took home the Best Actor prize for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury in the film “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

The dark comedy of “The Favourite” took home seven BAFTA’s, including outstanding British film and Best Actress for Olivia Colman.
