While many candidates have their eyes set on November, two candidates are still waiting to see how it will end up for them.
The recount in the Democratic primary for the 8th Congressional District continues in Vanderburgh County Monday morning.
State Election officials, along with candidates Ron Drake and David Orentlicher, were at the Vanderburgh County Election Office for the recount.
Drake was the apparent winner on election night with a 54-vote margin over Orentlicher.
That margin has now increased to 68 after some absentee ballots weren’t initially counted in Parke County.
We’re told the recount could continue well into this month.
