Resurrection School students donate port pillows to help cancer patients

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT)- Some Evansville students team up with the Chemo Buddies Foundation to help those battling cancer.

Students at Resurrection School created 200 port pillows. The pillows will be donated to the Chemo Buddies Foundation and be used by cancer patients while they undergo chemotherapy. Students designed the pillows, stuffed them and sewed messages of love and hope.

The project began in late October when students took part in the school’s “Change for Change” campaign by collecting donations.
