Ri Ra Irish Pub in Evansville announced that the business will be closing.
The announcement was made on the business’ Facebook page Monday morning.
In the restaurant’s post, the business thanked attempts made by their landlord, Tropicana Evansville. Ri Ra said they and the Tropicana agreed they “have no option but to close our pub.”
The restaurant specifically mentions “increasingly difficult trading conditions”.
The restaurant first opened in Evansville twelve years ago, thanking the community after announcing they’ve closed their doors for the last time.
“Over the last twelve years, we have immensely enjoyed getting to know you and the local community, earning your friendship, watching your families grow, hearing your great stories, and of course, sharing with you, the perfect pint or two!”
Eyewitness News will update the story as more details become available.
