Robotic tail designed to help those with balance problems

JAPAN (CNN) – Japanese designers have created a robotic wearable tail.

The high-tech tail serves a medical purpose.

It actually moves in response to its wearer, which provides stability and can help people with balance problems.

Researchers said it provides stability, which can help people with balance problems.

It was developed by studying cats and tigers, but sea-horses were actually settled on as a model because their larger and heavier tails provide the force and momentum necessary for impacting a person’s center of gravity.

The tail has to weigh 5% of the wearer’s body weight.
