Santa’s mailbox arrives in downtown Evansville


EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The holiday season is in full swing in downtown Evansville.

Children can write letters to Santa and put them in the mailbox located at 3rd and Main Street to hear from Santa and his elves.

In order to get a response, letters must be in put in the mailbox no later than December 15th. Each letter should include the child’s name and a return address.

Letters will be taken to Santa Claus, Indiana, where Santa and his elves will respond to each letter.

Last year, Santa and his elves responded to 23,000 children from all over the world, including China, Russia, Germany and New Zealand.
