Sen. Dan Coats (R-IN) delivers a weekly “Waste of the Week” speech on government waste.
In his most recent speech on waste, the senator criticized a study on “hanger.”
“Hangry” is a combination of the words “hunger” and “angry.”
The word is used to describe being angry because you are hungry.
Coats said researchers spent three years and over $300,000 on the study.
“Talk about waste. Think of all the Snickers bars you could have bought with $300,000. After three years, I’m sure these guys were waiting on pins and needles for the results.”
