Shooting suspect now charged with murder, after victim passed away Thursday

Owensboro police said a warrant has been issued and served on Travon Anthony for a murder charge, after the victim of a shooting on West 2nd St. passed away.

Anthony is accused in a shooting, which eventually led to the death of Todd J. Raley, 52.

The warrant served on Anthony also included charges of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and intimidating a participant in the legal process.

Anthony is currently at the Daviess County Detention Center.

Anthony was arrested on September 17, initially on charges of assault, intimidating a participant in a legal process, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
