“Spring into Caring'” Launches to Help Feed the Tri-State

News
United Way of Southwestern Indiana is kicking off their 3rd annual “Spring Into Caring” food drive.
Each year the goal is to fill a semi trailer then deliver the food to the Tri-State food bank.
President Carol Braden-Clarke says they are asking for nonperishable items such as peanut butter, canned goods and dry foods.

“We get calls from people who are needing assistance and food is one of the top request that we get for help, which is why we started this food drive a few years ago. We kept seeing an increased number people needing food assistance,” said Braden-Clarke.

You can drop your donation off anytime during the week at the United Way office on northwest 4th Street in downtown Evansville. The United Way wants to remind you that every can does make a difference.
