State Rep. Ron Bacon (R-Chandler) announced on Friday that he intends to run for re-election for Indiana State House District 75.
The seat represents parts of Spencer, Pike and Warrick counties. Bacon has held it since 2010.
He currently serves as vice chair of the House Committee on Public Health and also serves on the House Committee on Commerce, Small Business and Economic Development, The House Statutory Committee on Interstate and International Cooperation, and the Medicaid Advisory Committee.
“I am taking what I have learned working as a health professional for the past 50 years here in Southwest Indiana, and putting it to use to help vet legislation that positively impacts all Hoosiers,” Bacon said. “Providing health care while maintaining our state’s fiscal integrity are among my top priorities while serving the people of House District 75.”
Bacon said he will continue supporting policies that encourage economic growth.
