The driver in a deadly Warrick County crash has been identified.

The Warrick County Sheriff’s Office says 39-year-old Karin Ramirez, of Boonville, died at the scene of the crash.

The crash happened just after 2 p.m. on State Road 62, near Baker Road.

According to the Warrick County Sheriff’s Office, Ramirez was driving westbound on S.R. 62 then crossed the eastbound lanes and left the roadway.

Her vehicle hit several parked cars in a used car lot on the south side of the road and flipped.

The Warrick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the crash.

WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – The Warrick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly crash on State Road 62.

It happened just after 2:00 p.m. on S.R. 62, near Baker Road and Aiger.

According to the sheriff’s office, a vehicle driving westbound on S.R. 62 crossed the eastbound lanes and left the roadway. The vehicle hit several parked cars in a used car lot on the south side of the road and flipped.

The driver of the vehicle died at the scene.

The driver’s name will not be released until their family is notified.

There were no other people in the vehicle.

WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – One person has died following a crash on State Road 62 in Warrick County.

ISP Sgt. Todd Ringle says S.R. 62 at Aigner has reopened to traffic.

ISP, Boonville Police and the Warrick County Sheriff’s Office are on scene.

The victim’s name has not been released at this time.

A helicopter has been called to the scene on S.R. 62, near Aigner Rd.

According to ISP, the crash is off the roadway on the south side.
