Storm Victims Gain Help From American Red Cross

Storm victims got some help Tuesday night from the American Red Cross.

The agency opened a shelter in Gibson County at the Owensville United Methodist Church.

About 17 people stayed there overnight.

However, that shelter closed this morning, the Red Cross says those 17 people had insurance that is helping them with temporary housing, so the shelter was no longer needed.

The Red Cross responded in several other southern Indiana counties as well.
