Study lists Indiana among most dangerous states for kids online

Indiana is ranked as one of the most dangerous states for kids online, according to a recent study.

The study from Internet Service Partners used information on malware infection rates, youth victims of Internet crime, education rank, cyberbullying laws, and youth mental illness.

Indiana ranked 46th on the list.

Here’s a look at all the states which appeared in the bottom 10:

  • Arizona
  • Colorado
  • Virginia
  • Texas
  • Indiana
  • Alabama
  • Georgia
  • Maryland
  • Wisconsin
  • Oregon

Here were the 10 safest states ordered from 1-10:

  • South Dakota
  • Vermont
  • North Dakota
  • Iowa
  • Connecticut
  • Rhode Island
  • Minnesota
  • Kansas
  • Maine
  • Massachusetts

According to the study, the 10 safest states tend to have tougher cyberbullying laws than other states in the country.
