We’re told Tad Cummins is back in the Henderson County Jail after his latest hearing in Nashville on Friday.
The former teacher is accused of kidnapping a Tennessee teenager and sparking a nationwide AMBER alert.
A judge Friday ordered the 50-year-old remain in custody until his upcoming trial, deeming him a flight risk.
Cummins’ sister, Daphne Quinn, took the stand Friday asking her brother be released to stay with his parents.
An FBI agent also released new details in the investigation. He says Cummins and the teen portrayed themselves as a married couple and tried to kayak across the border to Mexico.
Authorities eventually located the two at a cabin in northern California.
