DAVIESS COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) – The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office says a 14-year-old is charged with four counts of arson.

The incidents happened in August in the Masonville area.
There was another incident Thursday at Daviess County High School when a fire was purposely set in the boy’s restroom.

Nobody was hurt in the fires.

We’re told the teen has been released to his parents pending his first court appearance.

And we’ve received a statement from Damon Fleming, the Director of Public Schools in Daviess County. He says the incident at the school involved a burnt piece of paper found in a boys’ restroom.

Fleming says nobody was injured and no property was damaged.
