The Rams are trying their hand at a final drive with less than 30 seconds left.

The Patriots field goal is good! 1:12 left.

8:55 p.m. – 4Q (Rams 3 – Pats 10)

The Rams stopped the Patriots just short of the first down, forcing the Patriots into a very short 4th down. The Patriots called a timeout with 1:16 to go. Their kicker is coming onto the field to try for a 10 point lead.

8:53 p.m. – 4Q (Rams 3 – Pats 10)

The Patriots have the ball at the LA 29. 3rd down and 1. Two minute warning has been called.

Los Angeles takes a timeout with 2:42 remaining. The Patriots pick up a huge rushing first down to get into field goal territory. 2:28 remains. Rams call final timeout.

The Rams will have to punt the ball. Eight consecutive possessions have ended in a punt for the Rams. By one yard, the punt broke the record for the longest punt in Super Bowl History at 65 yards courtesy of John Hekker. Patriots will get the ball with 8:36 remaining.

The Patriots go for it on 4th and 1, just within FG territory. The pass is incomplete and the Rams will take over with 1:13 remaining. The Rams have two timeouts.

The score is still 0-0. The Rams were forced to punt after going three and out. The Patriots will take over again.

The Rams manage to grab an interception, following a series of first downs for the Patriots. 12 minutes remain in the first quarter.

The Patriots receive the kickoff and The Big Game is underway.

New England calls ‘heads’ and the toss turned up ‘tails.’

Los Angeles chose to defer.

The Philadelphia Eagles’ Chris Long was presented with the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, as part of the pre-game ceremony.

The teams are now being announced and entering the stadium.
