OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) — A local Kentucky distillery is giving back by producing sanitizing products for businesses and nonprofits.
The Glenmore Distillery in Owensboro is donating cases of its Clear Spring 190 proof grain alcohol to Kentucky-based businesses and nonprofits. When diluted, the alcohol can be used for sanitizing non porous surfaces.
Glenmore officials say they’ve donated to a foster center, medical centers, several doctor’s offices, several nursing homes and the police department so far.
Interested organizations in the first responder, government agencies, 501 c3 charitable entities and healthcare fields are invited to apply through this form. Due to state law, only organizations based in Kentucky will be offered the case of Clear Spring alcohol.
Glenmore says it will continue to distribute the alcohol this week.
The second initiative is the production of hand sanitizer for commercial businesses. The Glenmore Distillery has also completed its initial run of hand sanitizer for commercial businesses, and more is being produced across the country. It is available for purchase for large bulk orders. If your business has a need for industrial hand sanitizer, fill out this form or email firstname.lastname@example.org and someone from Sazerac will get back to you.
