Modern Healthcare Magazine has recognized The Women’s Hospital as the fourth best healthcare provider workplace in the nation.
The ranking was part of its 2017 Best Places to Work list, which was announced at an awards banquet in Las Vegas on Thursday.
This is the eighth year The Women’s Hospital has been included on the list.
Human Resources Director Susie Traylor said, “We hear feedback from our employees that they appreciate the open lines of communication between employees and physicians, managers and administrators. This results in an environment of compassion, teamwork, autonomy and value. This culture has also contributed to our high employee retention rates and a consistently high employee engagement rate of 97 percent.”
CEO Christina M. Ryan added, “Our team has created and maintained a culture that has allowed us to receive this award for eight consecutive years, and we are both honored and humbled to achieve this designation. But the true winners are our employees, as they have provided an environment that allows all team members to feel valued and appreciated.”
