Thousands Spent to Improve Daviess Co. Parks

Judge Executive Al Mattingly says the parks have needed work for several years now. The county only has to pay a maximum of $200,000 each year.

Places like Yellow Creek Park will see pavement upgrades, shade trees added, and some maintenance buildings moved.

Judge Mattingly says the budget is flexible, so if the county faces a tough year where they can’t afford the $200,000, it can be pushed back to the next fiscal year.
