With the Indiana’s Primary Election Day on Tuesday, it’s crunch time for the candidates.
Indiana Senate candidate and 4th District Congressman Todd Rokita was in Evansville on Monday wrapping up his 10 day, 50 city tour.
Throughout the campaign, Rokita has promoted himself as a conservative who is pro-life and pro-Second Amendment.
Indiana’s former secretary of state said the best way to find out what is important to voters is to visit every county in the state.
“You cannot be a good senator with TV ads,” said Rokita. “You have to see people, face-to-face. You have to listen to them. You have to hear what’s important. You have to see it in their eyes. “
Rokita will face Congressman Luke Messer and businessman Mike Braun in Tuesday’s primary.
