INDIANAPOLIS (WEHT) – Indiana lawmakers are considering tightening voter restriction requirements. A bill would require Hoosiers to show proof of citizenship, including a passport or birth certificate in order to register to vote.

The measure would also require an audit to be conducted after each election before results are certified. The Senate Elections Committee will hear the measure on Monday.
