Juvenile shows up to Evansville hospital with gunshot wound

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Evansville Police are investigating a shooting after a juvenile showed up in the emergency room with a gunshot wound Monday night.

Police said a juvenile came to the St. Vincent ER around 7:00 p.m. and was not willing to cooperate with officers.

Authorities are also investigating a shooting that took place in the 1600 block of Clayton Avenue near the Grand Oaks Apartments where several shell casings were found, and bullets punched through apartment walls.

There is no word at this time if the shootings are related, however officials say these investigations are ongoing.
