DAVIESS COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) — Daviess County officials say shortly before 4:00 a.m Friday morning, multiple accidents were reported in Daviess and Henderson Counties causing traffic delays for drivers.
In Henderson County near the Daviess County line, an accident involving four vehicles clossed the Audubon Parkway at the Green River bridge going eastbound.
Authorities said seven people went to the hospital with minor injuries. Multiple tow trucks were used to clear the bridge, as traffic backed up for nearly an hour. The road has since totally reopened.
Henderson Dispatch reported a large number of accidents around the city at 6:30 a.m. keeping police and first responders busy.
Around 7:15 a.m., a semi crash on I-69 was reported going south near Madisonville.
Highway 81 is closed in McLean County between Hwy 2385 and Pond Drain Road due to a semi crash and a downed power line.
In Daviess County, a semi wreck on the Wendell Ford Expressway (former by-pass) between Highway 54 and I-165, formerly the Natcher Parkway, caused a delay on the road east and west bound.
