Trash pickup in Evansville delayed due to strike

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Trash pick-ups in Evansville will continued to be delayed due to the strike by the Teamsters Union at the Republic Services Marshfield, Massachusetts facility.

That’s according to officials with the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility.

According to a tweet from EWSU, they think the strike is over. They said the Teamsters pickets are gone.

We’re told some drivers are running some residential routes that were not picked up Friday.
