A trial date has been set for one of the two people charged in connection with a massive fire at Evansville’s Inland Marina back in February.
William Marver’s trial is set for September 21st.
Marver faces three counts of conspiracy to commit arson in connection with February’s fire, and drug charges.
Marver and his long-time friend and housekeeper Brenda Harris are accused of intentionally setting Marver’s boat on fire in hopes of receiving insurance money.
That fire spread to other boats in the marina, causing more than 4 million dollars in damage.
No trial date has been set in Harris’ case.
