Trial Date Set for Man Accused of Killing Pedestrian

A trial date is set for the Evansville man charged with killing a pedestrian while driving drunk in February.

Connor Dant, 29,  will face a judge August 31.

Authorities say he struck and killed Darrell Asbridge, 56, as he was walking along upper Mount Vernon Road in the middle of the night.

Authorities say his blood alcohol content was 0.15 percent.
