Easterseals hosted it’s annual tribute dinner Wednesday night.
It honored a family for its impact on the community after overcoming adversity.
Ben Trockman, along with his parents Wayne and Jill and his brother Josh, are this year’s honorees.
Ben injured his spinal cord in 2016 and has served as a local and national ambassador for Easterseals.
He and his family have traveled across the country to share their story and advocate for disability issues.
The family also secured the lead gift for Easterseals’ capital campaign: to make needed renovations and updates to the rehabilitation center.
