Two arrested for theft in Huntingburg

On Monday evening, shortly after 7:30, Huntingburg Police say they were called to the CVS Pharmacy on Main Street regarding a theft that had occurred there earlier.

Officers say they spoke with a representative of CVS, who said a man and woman entered the store around 7 o’clock that evening.

Police say the employee reported the couple set off alarms when they left the store on foot with items they did not pay for. 

Officers say they reviewed surveillance footage, and were able to determine who the suspects were.

Police say the male and female were 29-year-old William A. Artiga from Huntingburg, and 41-year-old Diana Gandarilla, also from Huntingburg.

Officers say they located both suspects and brought them in for questioning.

Both suspects were charged with Theft, and are incarcerated in the Dubois County Security Center.
