On Saturday evening, shortly after 6:30, KSP responded to an accident on KY 176, just west of Ebenezer, where two vehicles had collided head-on.
When the trooper arrived, both drivers were trapped in their vehicles and one of the cars was on fire.
With the assistance of two fire departments, the flames were extinguished, and both drivers were removed from the vehicles.
Authorities say that 26-year-old Aquaya Blake of Greenville, KY was traveling westbound on Hwy 176.
Officers say Blake crossed the center line and struck the other vehicle, driven by 31-year-old Heather Kendrick, also of Greenville.
Kendrick was flown to St. Vincent Evansville and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Blake was transported to Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries.
Blake was later arrested, and is housed in Muhlenberg County Detention Center where she was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Drugs.
