Two kids in critical condition after car crash


EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Two kids are in critical condition at Saint Vincent in Evansville after a car crash in Owensboro.

The kids were passengers in a car involved in a head-on collision early this morning on Highway 405 near Chandler Avenue in Owensboro.

We’re told a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan was traveling northbound when the driver lost control and flipped on its side into oncoming traffic. The vehicle collided with a 2002 Chevy Silverado.

Emergency crews used the jaws of life to rescue one adult and two kids from the van.

The adult and four kids traveling in the Silverado were not injured.
