The race for Evansville City Council continues to grow, as another candidate filed to run Monday.
Gina Robinson Ungar filed to run for an at-large seat as a Democrat.
She recently left her position as a receptionist at the Evansville Housing Authority, saying she felt the call to serve in elected office to address the needs of the community.
“I can’t hold back anymore, I have to get involved and try and be one of those people who can make smart decisions for the benefit of the community,” Ungar said.
Ungar said she will challenge voters to make Evansville a place where families get healthier, safer, and more connected to community resources that make a difference.
