USDA: Canned beef recall is due to processing defect

(CNN) – A canned beef product distributed in Indiana and Kentucky is being recalled.

The USDA said a processing defect has Conagra Brands recalling more than 32,000 lbs. of Kaskey’s Beefy Mac Pasta in Tomato and Meat Sauce.

The recalled items include 15-ounce cans with a “Best by” date of July 7, 2021.

There have no been no reports of illnesses or deaths.
