The University of Southern Indiana and Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center are set to renew a partnership Monday.
The agreement involves experiential learning, technology transfer, and development of intellectual property.
It also includes outreach activities involving science, technology, engineering, and math education.
The event on Monday from 1-3 p.m. will offer networking opportunities and showcase student projects form the Technology Commercialization Academy that harnessed technology from Crane.
USI says the partnership with Crane will continue to benefit local industries as developing technology hits the market.
The university says four startups have been incorporated and sustained through students’ use of Crane technology.
