VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – Vanderburgh County Commissioners say there’s been a record number of construction projects in the county.
County Commissioners Cheryl Musgrave, Ben Shoulders and Jeff Hatfield presented their ‘State of the County’ address Tuesday afternoon to the Evansville Rotary Club.
Commissioners say the county has undergone more paving and construction projects than ever before.
“We identified numerous road projects, numerous overpasses, numerous bridges that our county needed. From there we had I believe it as three road hearings, and that incorporated bridges and so forth like that, and that’s what Commissioner Musgrave spoke on was infrastructure, and from that we have, I wanna say in the last 24 months, conducted the most road paving and new road construction in modern history in Vanderburgh County.”
All three commissioners spoke during the meeting.
